I have lived in the Nicholson/Jackson County area for over thirty years. My husband was born in the home that is now his office, which is just a couple miles from our home in Jackson County. Since he’s also a builder, I know a lot about the county codes, what you can and cannot build, getting building permits, and finding the right lot for the house you want. I love helping my clients find the perfect property.

I graduated high school from Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, GA, after living in several places while my dad was in the Navy. I graduated from The University of Georgia in Athens, GA with a degree in math education, and I have lived in the Nicholson, Georgia area for over 30 years. I taught school in this the Jackson County area, and now those students are grown, many with families of their own. I know the area and the people really well.

My husband John Adams owns Adams Tile and Stucco. His great grandfather started the Adams Tile business over fifty years ago. They do commercial stucco and plaster work. Together, my husband and I raised four children who all attended Jackson County schools. My three youngest children still live in the area with their growing families. My oldest son lives in Panama City, FL with his wife and daughter. We have four grandchildren with numbers five and six due soon. We went from zero grandchildren to three in six months— three of our children had their first child the same year.

Our five cats are Pan, Pitys, Artemis, Luna and Prince. We have a rooster, Elliot, and twelve hens including Jasmine and Josephine, Buffy, Noel, Hootie and several others, but those are my favorites. They lay blue, green, brown and pink colored eggs. I also enjoy reading and fishing in my spare time.

My husband started building houses several years ago, and I met the agent he was using, Virgina Beavers, and we became friends with her and her husband. From that friendship I began a career in real estate. Virginia presented the idea to me, and John thought it was a great idea as well, so I got my real estate license and started working with Virginia at Direct Market Realty.  I switched to Braselton Real Estate Group after that, because they were a local brokerage where most of the property I bought and sold was located. These were both boutique real estate firms, and I decided I wanted to start my own brokerage like the smaller ones I had started out with. At first, I was just buying and selling for my husband, and now I represent several investors.

I enjoy showing larger tracts of land, my husband bought me a Kubota yard buggy, so I can show large tracts, and he goes with me when showing those kinds of properties. It's nice being able to work with him, so that's probably why I like showing land best.

I would love to help you find the property you are looking for, and I look forward to speaking with you soon.
